I agree totally. I work full time and use the money I make at Squishy cash for the little extras. Last year I bought Christmas with it. My Squishy money is for Christmas too between that, surveys, and ChaCha Christmas is pretty much covered!

I also started a change jar. I think I have about $200 in that.

I jumped on the paid to click offers, but I don't think I understand the advertising.

I want to try the advertising but I am not sure how to go about it. I write poems, stories and articles on another site and want to post a link to my writings. I am not sure if I can though.

So would you pay a certain amount to SC in exchange for getting a certain number of click-throughs to your site from SCers? I can't really think of an application for that for most people.

A lot of people use it to get traffic to their blogs or to advertise another GPT or PTC site either as a member trying to get referrals or the owner trying to get more members.

Are new clicks added everyday or once we do them will they reappear the next day??? It depends on how the advertiser set up the offer, they can choose to let you click on it from 1 day - 1 year. There is no set time frame for all the PTC offers, so I suggest checking back to see if the offer is available for you again.

Whooo hooo! Thanks SC! I've been waiting for PTC's and advertising. I think I'm going to go and buy an ad. vettaw, be careful in regards to purchasing ads? Next question. On the part that says "Site URL" do we add our referral link or the regular site url? Oh, and I had a hard time finding the PTC's and advertising page. Can they be mad emore obvious? No need to worry, we do have security in place to protect all our members. Yes, site URL would be your referral link, if you are looking for referrals. And, we are intending on making these links more obvious, for right now they are located in the members home section. Hope this helps!

Oh! I think I get it now...If someone clicks through to your site and is interested in it, they might become a member; and if they join a GPT through your referral link, that's obviously a good thing for you. (Duh!) I'll blame it on the color of my hair. Also, it's good to know that the same ones might come back.

What about other types of websites? Would it work on those. I could add a link to one of my poems on Triod to get more clicks, right?
