I'm not going to encourage anyone to post his/her views in this thread, as discussions on politics can easily get out of hand. I've been watching the primaries coverage for much too long this evening, even though our primary was last month, lol.

I'm trying to decide if I should vote "other" or "none of the above". What's the difference?

Hard choice here lol Obama: I like him come from a multicultural backround and know what it feels like to be able to just look at people like people. You name the race it's in my family...same with Obama. I honestly can say when someone does something stupid that I don't then put a tag on that persons race..I chalk it up to that specific individual, alot of people can't do that, it's a rare gift, people can say all day long that racial tags don't exhist but they do. He can and hopefully will be the first President with this type of backround who when he looks in someones face can actually say "I know what you mean" and really know what they mean, and know what their hardships are because he has been through them. But with this being said...I do think Hillary does have more experience then him, and she does have Bill to help her along as well, and of course me being a WOMAN lol would love to see a female in office! Me and my dad always joke that if a woman was in the whitehouse and having a bad PMS day...lol the country better watch out! She might send the nukes out! lol Hillary has proven herself to be a strong leader as well. I think they are both on different levels though...Hillary having more experience, and Obama having the cultural diversity. Either way I will be happy with either of them. ;D

I'm sad no one responded to my question about the difference between "other" and "none of the above".

Sorry I have to go with Mc Cain ;DWhole family is republican. LOL. As far as Hilary Clinton...OMG she sounds like she is always yelling at everybody when she does her debates! Reminds me of my mom! Obama I really like but my fear is that he would have a much higher assasination attempt on him just because of his race which is a d**n shame. I think he would do some good things for the country but I would be in fear for him and his family. The country I don't think is ready for a woman or black president. Even if Obama is multiracial there are many people in this country that would only see black. Sad isn't it?!

I worry about the safety of both Hillary and Obama if either are elected. MC Cain seems like a good man as well, he was a POW for I believe 6 years, and had the option of being freed because his father was some sort of high ranked person at the time of his captivity, and had negotiated his release and he refused and let someone else go in his place...now that takes gutso! He to this day walks with a limp and can't lift his arms above his head. I just learned all this about a week ago on I think 60 minutes. Honestly I worry about his health. He looks very frail to me.

Other would be someone else who may have been in the race but no longer is.... And None of the above was meant to be none of the people that are still in the race meaning you could care less because the person you may of wanted is not listed lol Tooo funny!

Bill Richardson should be president, and Obama vice president, ;D and while i think McCain is a kindly old fellow...he is an elderly man, and im too young to remember Ronald Reagan, but I do recall the clips where is is being questioned about something having to do with an Iran contra affair, and he kept saying "I dont remember, I dont recall"...and soon after that was diagnosed with alzheimers..
This upcoming election is waaaaaay too important to make any more mistakes in choosing a leader...(I cannot believe the President of the USA cant even pronounce the word 'Nuclear')and people put him in office....TWICE!!!...(falls over laughing!)

At this point I am just ready to move on from the Bush admin - Either Democrat (Hillary or Obama) would be a huge improvement over what we have now.
Karma to you I did not know that McCain let somebody go in his place...I don't know if I could have...I would have been to scared to stay?!?!
TY...I don't know if I could of done it either...he was severely tortured all them years. There have been many things said about his health though..so I don't know what to believe. Yes for sure move away from bush Admin...he in my opinion just wanted to pick up where his father left off When Bill clinton was in office, I have to admit the country had it nice..despite his romp around with Monica..but that was for Hillary to forgive. They made a good team then, and would make a good team now. Obama is so sweet, and you can just see the care and compassion in his eyes..and getting universal health care is something very personal to him..his mom died of cancer, and he has said that instead of her focusing on getting better...she was to worried and stressed about how she was gonna pay her medical bills. Sweet as that is...still in my opinion does not make up for his lack of experience. Oh well of to work to deal with trouble makers lol You all have a good day
