I'm 23 years younger than my fiance & best friend of 8 years. I learned to read & could read at the middle school to high school level when I was 2. (My mom & my grandparents' read to me from the time I was born until I was 2). I can pick things up off the floor with my toes. This comes in handy, so you don't have to bend down to pick up something you dropped...lol.

And, yes it helps when I am feeling real lazy! ;D That is impressive, how quickly you were able to read. My mom swears that I was introducing people to each other, at my 1 year old birthday party.

When I was in 5th grade, the school nurse conducted yearly (basic) eye exams on all it's students. At that time, 4 of my 5 siblings wore glasses, as did both my parents and 2 living grandparents. Of course I wanted to wear glasses, too... so (even though I knew better), I "faked" my school's eye exam so I'd get a slip to bring home to my folks, suggesting they take me to a real eye doctor for a thorough exam. I got just what I wanted!
My mom took me... and I continued to "fake" the exam there, too... but somewhere during the exam I got scared and decided to answer the doctor's vision questions truthfully from that point on. And I did so, honestly.
At the end of the exam, the doctor tells me I need glasses..... I cried! .... LOL

She did all her typing with her toes! (not to mention everything else!) It was amazing!

LOL I've been wearing glasses since I was 18 months old! haha And I could read by the time i was 3. The first book I taught myself to read was "Marvin K Mooney Will You Please Go Now!" by Dr. Seuss. That, and the Golden Books version of Snow White

Hi my name is Nancy, I celebrated my yahoo ID 10th anniv bikerchick4God this summer. What a geek huh? I am single, never married, by choice. I haven't found my husband yet (or let him find me - too much time on line???) I do have a 29 yr old daughter whose boyfriend proposed June 14th! Very proud momma here. He is great. I have ADHD and find myself going in a hundred directions.. grrrr... I appear in communities then disappear for long periods of time w:hen the novelty wears off. Could be why I'm single??
I spent 29 days cross country in a semi last Jan! That WAS an amazingly unforgettable trip. Anyways, glad to be here. Unfortunately everyone is in bed tonight, and last night, and the night before... sweet dreams ya'll
