The whole movie was great! I loved both the scenes you guys talked about, and I loved the e-mails near the end...
People Magazine gave it a bad review because it wasn't like the show with all the fun, spontaneous sex talk and lots of scenes with just the girls. But I totally disagree and can't even believe that the reviewer (Their long-time reviewer Leah Rozen) would think that!
I mean, the girls aren't in their 30's anymore. They're in their 40's and all 4 of them were either married or in serious relationships! Of course the dynamics are going to change and they'll be spending more time with their own families than with each other! You face different problems in relationships in your 40's than you did in your 30's! I'm still in my 20's and even I know that!!!
I thought the movie was VERY true to life and the acting was amazing. It was like I could feel everything they were feeling!
What a bone-headed reviewer.

Eww a bad review? That's upsetting, it was really good. The thing I didn't really like was that it didn't feel like it was all about NY, with them going away to Mexico and LA, but still, I wouldn't change it. I heard a bad review that said that Jennifer Hudson's character was out of place, but I thought she was a good addition.
