Soooo
My husband and I are going to get our names tattooed on each other....And to me---I think girls have to be really careful not to cross the line between cool and trashy when getting a tattoo haha.
So my question is---Where would be a good place to get his name on me that would look okay? I want people to see it (and I want to be able to see it...not on the back of my neck) and I also always wear sleeves (no tank tops) and shorts (no bikini crap haha).
Any opinions? My sister thinks it would be tacky for me to get a tattoo on my arm.
This would just be his name in some cool black lettering. Nothing big, no color, no pictures...

I think the idea of putting a tasteful tattoo, especially a name or a special message on the inside of your wrist, right below the palm of your hand.

;D I personally (cause I have one here) think it should be on the outside of the leg between the ankle and knee! it doesn't smart as bad as around bone area ;D

The tattoo took 5 minutes to get and it was hardly bearable! So Carolyn...I like the wrist idea....Do I get the name facing me? Or facing out?

haha
though, it would be kind of cool to put the squishycash DICE there!
My screen name on Yahoo, and AIM, and everything else (and usually any site I signed up for) has been "greenconverse" since like 1999....So I was going to get a star on my wrist (you know, the star on Converse)....
Do you have any tattoos already?

Ohh very cute! No tattoos yet, but it's because I just can't decide, not because I don't want one. I like the idea of getting the SC dice tattoo, very cute...
Do you have any other tats besides the 11?

Nope, I just have the "11". I'm very into tattoos really MEANING something. I am so NOT the kind of person to go to a tattoo place on a whim and have a random butterfly put on me....And nothing has ever been important enough (aside from that #11) to have permanently on my body.
My husband has a Detroit Red Wings tattoo on his calf (that is REALLY well done...i was jealous)...and he has a rose over his heart...which is his "drunk Navy tattoo" haha...I like to tease him about the fact that it's a rose.

LOL a rose! That's quite manly I totally agree tattoos are real commitments, so I want it to mean something!

I will definitely take a picture of it!
I'm so excited! Yay! Maybe if I get my tax rebate check sometime this decade, I'll use part of that to go get it done.
Now I have to figure out if I want just his first name...or his first and middle name. I think it would be "sweeter" with both names....what do you think?

I love the idea of first and middle, as long as it's not too long.
