I try to get family and friends to join. You have to stay in contact with them, because some get discouraged. I forward info on how to get offers to credit and any other tips. I let them know how friendly and helpful the sites are ( admin and forums). I also let them know it might be a little tough in the beginning but it will get easier once you get a hang of it. I let them know that some will credit and some won't you just have to keep trying, because some quit if offers don't credited. I also try to hook up with people that have a lot of referrals. Sometimes I can get them to join a site that I'm doing and they aren't or sometimes I'll join theirs.(maybe I can get alot of 2nd level referrals)

I've tried flyers. It didn't work that well. I think I received 1 referral. I think they were just thrown away. But I guess it depends where you put the flyers.

I put some flyers in apartment complexes and on the info board in grocery stores. I only tried once. I felt wierd putting up flyers. Maybe I need to try putting them up more than one time.

My brother owns a mattress store and I used to put up signs for him. I would put them up one day and take them down the next and put them in another area. Maybe that would work. Although with the cost of gas I am not sure it would be worth it. lol

Gas is high. lol i'm going to try putting flyers up and wait a week or two and then try another location. I've tried blogs also not a big response from that either. I think there are alot of blogs about GPT sites. Mine will probably never be looked at.

There are a lot of blogs on GPT plus I find it hard to get referrals on the message boards. Most everyone wants a trade which is understandable but I have tried a lot of sites so I can't offer too many trades.

I guess right now I'm going to stick with family and friends and ask them to pass it along to other family member and friends. Friends and family seem to stay active longer than a random referral.

i was thinking about trying the colleges. I have a nephew in college. I'm also going to try and have my niece post it on her my space (no spamming). i don't do my space.

I do have friends with myspace. I'm going to ask them to post it on their myspace and I might try to create my own.
