When I first started getting referrals, I tried using the promo code thing to get them to work harder. It didn't work, so I gave up. Now I request promo codes and use them myself...usually it's when it's almost the end of the month and I'm a few dollars shy of cashout.

I hope you all read my post, I added some smaller cash prizes, in an attempt to keep the referral promo codes, just for your referrals/prospective referrals. From now on if you are looking to bump up your balance, please request the cash rewards.

I've never used the referral promo codes, I wouldn't even know how to begin! I've got something like 52 (or so) referrals & I wouldn't know whether to host a contest (and how on earth would I track who won), or send them out to the best (who are making $$$ anyway), or send them to the ones that don't seem to do much (& would they even check their e-mails & find the promo codes???).

How does everyone else use them?

I thought chips were .05 a chip, so hmmm .05 x 20 = $1.00? so wouldn't people jsut save till 30 and get the $1.50 promo code, when it is 25 chips for $1.00 you save ur chips using the promo code for 1.50 then if u get the 1$
Here is an idea, if you want a promo code u send a upport ticket with the referrals name, and how much and there is link to the ticket int he contests section, then you guys send the code to the referral, and then maybe the person who sent it can get a confirmation that it has been sent, or the referral tells them if thye talk

i gave a promo code to one of my referrals b4 but i only had one active...but yea it does make since i never even paid attention to the to the difference between promo and cash prizes (slow moment) i just always did the promo codes for myself....but yea that is a good idea have an incentive for ur referrals once they hit a certain amount

The $1 cash reward is going to cost you a few extra chips because we'd rather have people save up for higher amounts of cash. But, if you need to get the $1 then you can go ahead and request it. I just don't want to get bum rushed w/ $1 cash reward requests, since it's pretty simply to earn 25 chips, especially if you're active.

I am gonna give it to my referral so he is focused on squishy and leaves any other gpt he is registered with lol he is new to gpt, a little nudge nudge saying Go make 20$

how much longer are we going to have them? are you thinking of taking them off? or would we just use them for referrals only

I doubt they will go any time soon, If they do, maybe we can have gift cards sent to our referrals instead, or as a nice gesture, give them the 33% to get paid in that day but only if they are really good!

Wow Carolyn, I love the smaller prizes - I had a few bucks left to cash out, but didn't find out about the smaller amounts until after I had some offers approve (very fast today too!). I'm sure I'll need those in the next month or so though!

So if one wanted to host a contest for their referrals, how would they go about it - I mean, I know I can e-mail them, but is there anyway to keep track of how much referrals make over a certain time period?
