I live near Chicago and the weather here is crazy. It is dropping to single digits with wind chills near 30 below. It is currently 10, and feels like 9 below. I have to let my puppy go to the bathroom in the house - he isn't fully potty-trained anyway, so that isn't really a problem - LOL! I know the West Coast is getting hit hard, as well as the East Coast, with tons of snow. I went to bed about two hours ago, but was woken up by the power going off and on (things beep in the kitchen when the power comes back on) and then by the skirting popping on our mobile home from the temp drops. It is blizzard-like out at the moment from snow blowing around from high winds. All of this one top of the 1 inch-thick ice on our driveway - we just can't break it to remove it. I was able to get our stairs cleaned off, thank goodness. Wherever you live, please stay safe, especially during this Holiday traveling week.
