~ I forgot to add above: Remember that when you get referrals, it is pretty hard to keep them active. A lot of ppl join from other GPT sites when you buy advertising on the other GPT and post your banner then they just sign up to get credit on that site. Thats why I have 9 referrals but only 1 referral that is actually active.
~That might be kinda hard to understand, anybody else wanna comment if you know what I mean and help clarify?

LOL, its ok, I understand!! I really do... getting referrals doesnt mean they will visit everyday and make us money... I can understand that so that is why I am really not going to go overboard trying to get referrals, I mean if I get them and they are active...then yay, but otherwise I am willing to do the work myself to actually get something. I have a facebook and I think I may promote on there... thanks for the suggestion!! |

I've done the Vista Print thing with putting my referral link on business cards. The thing is---think about it---No one is going to type out your ENTIRE referral link. They might....But I think it's far more likely they would just put in squishycash.com and not bother with all the numbers and symbols at the end.
I need to figure out how to get 1000 referrals so I can get $50 a month. I wish I was better at figuring out advertising stuff

I wish I was better at figuring out advertising stuff The business card is a great idea, thing is alissa, when you give out those cards, tell the person you're talking to that if they type in your unique link that they will get $3 added to their account!  Even though everyone gets $3 added to their account, they'll think that it's a special thing you're offering them! |

Your right about the business cards Carolyn.
There will soon be two manufacturing plant closings in the town that I work in. A friend who works at one of those plants contacted me today wanting to know about what I have been doing on Squishy cash as I had told her a little bit about it before. She will be coming by my office the early part of next week to pick up some of the vista business cards that I had printed as an offer on Squishy Cash to pass out to her co-workers.
It is my hope that Squishy cash will be able to help these people supplement their between job incomes.

Yeah, that's if you know them....But if I'm going to get 1000 referrals, it's not going to be because I'm personally handing thousands of people my cards haha. I would be leaving them on bulletin boards, at my friend's business, grocery stores, etc.
My friends would be more than happy to type in my referral link....But I've pretty much told everyone I know about Squishy Cash. Most didn't sign up. So now it's getting all those people I don't know....
