Do babies take longer to learn how to talk when they're hearing different languages daily vs babies who hear less or even just one language per day? If so, do they know the difference between their native primary language and a secondary language?

Thats a good question. A friend of mines daughter has been taught both english and spanish since birth, her mother only spoke to her in english and her father spoke to her in spanish. From what I saw she was talking just as early as my son who only knows english. But who knows.

hmm. thanks for your reply. I would need more responses to make a good sample. But what's the average age for babies to start talking normal? 5? and I don't mean gibberish baby language.
