I started this thread so members who read this thread can share interesting facts.

If anyone who reads this thread has ever been stung by a bee or knows someone who has been stung by a bee did you or another person do what it says in the following to help deal with a bee sting. If anyone has ever tried doing the following or knows someone who has tried dong the following than did it really work. If anyone who reads this post has been stung by a bee or knows someone who has been stung by a bee and you or the other person tried something different to help with the bee sting than what did you or the other person try doing.

Just in case someone who reads the following below was wondering if the following has happened to me. The following has never happened to me.

This information may be something to remember, as this season will soon be here again...

It might be wise to carry a penny in your pocket while working in the yard.......... BEE STINGS !

A couple of weeks ago, I was stung by both a bee and hornet while working in the garden.

My arm swelled up, so I went to the doctor. The clinic gave me cream and an antihistamine. The next day the swelling was getting progressively worse, so I went to my regular doctor. The arm was Infected and needed an antibiotic. The doctor told me - " The next time you get stung, put a penny on the bite for 15 minutes".

That night, my niece was stung by two bees. I looked at the bite and it had already started to swell. So, I taped a penny to her arm for 15 minutes The next morning, there was no sign of a bite We decided that she just wasn't allergic to the sting.

Soon, I was gardening outside. I got stung again, twice by a hornet on my left hand. I thought, here I go again to the doctor for another antibiotic.

I promptly got my money out and taped two pennies to my bites, then sat and sulked for 15 minutes. The penny took the string out of the bite immediately.

In the meantime the hornets were attacking, and my friend was stung on the thumb. Again the penny. The next morning I could only see the spot where the hornet had stung me. No redness, no swelling. My friend's sting was the same; couldn't even tell where she had been stung.

She got stung again a few days later upon her back---cutting the grass! And the penny worked once again.

Wanted to share this marvelous information in case you experience the same problem. We need to keep a stock of pennies on hand.

The doctor said that the copper in the penny counteracts the bite.
It definitely works!

To anyone who reads this post that likes to eat cucumbers I thought you would enjoy reading the following.

If anyone who reads this post has ever tried any of the things listed below than what did you try and did what you try work.

WOW! WHAT A LITTLE GEM THE CUCUMBER IS, I WILL LOOK AT IT DIFFERENTLY NOW.

3. Tired of your bathroom mirror fogging up after a shower? Try rubbing a cucumber slice along the mirror, it will eliminate the fog and provide a soothing, spa-like fragrance.

4. Are grubs and slugs ruining your planting beds? Place a few slices in a small pie tin and your garden will be free of pests all season long. Chocolate has rules. Bet you didn't know that. It's true! So if you got some for Easter, keep in mind these...

If you get melted Chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly.

Chocolate is a heath food. It's derived from cacao beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived either from sugar beets or cane, both vegetables as well. And of course, the milk/cream is dairy. So eating more chocolate will help meet your daily requirements of vegetables and dairy.

No other food ever had an entire movie centered around its manufacture in a factory that had an eccentric proprietor. And let's not forget, Golden Tickets are only found in chocolate bars, so enjoy!
