free mac n cheese: if you go to Target.com they have a coupon --which you can print 2 per computer-- for Target brand mac n cheese, for 1.00 off, the best thing is the box is .64 so you get the mac n cheese for free. --got my box today and then came home to see i have another coupon to print off....so i will be going back next week to get my next box of mac n cheese for free.

how exactly do you save in coupons?

stealth.... ok, its like this.... say a bag of chips are on sale for 5 for $5, and you have a coupon for $1 off those bag of chips....if you get 5 coupons (1 per bag) then you get all 5 bags of chips for free.
or if you get a coupon for $1 off 3 cans of soup.... then that soup goes on sale for 3 for $5...using the coupon you can get those 3 cans for $4 --saving a dollar on the sale price.
in last weeks coupon inserts there were coupons for up2u mentos gum packs... $1 off per pack and $1 off per multipack ...now at target those packs of gum are 1.29 per pack... and I used one of my coupon and got the pack of gum for .29
yesterday I went to target and got 3 boxes of mac n cheese, 1 pack of Wet ones single packs (26 ct), and 2 packs of gum.... my total bill after using coupons was 2.94 --- since the mac n cheese was all free, the wet ones were marked down to 1.99 and I had a .75 off coupon and one of the pack of gums was only .29 -- the bill was 7.21 before my coupons. --so my savings was over half my total bill.
I hope I made sense!! LOL
and I never clip coupons for things I never use...why bother.
at CVS they had Dawn dish soap on sale for .99 -- I had 2 coupons for $1 off 2, so I got 4 dawn dish soaps for .49 ea --only spending under $2 for all of them. (just another great deal I got when I was out yesterday)

the week of Thanksgiving this past year -- November 2011 -- so literally less than 2 months ago, I was watching TLC "extreme couponing" ...they had a marathon on the tuesday before thanksgiving and I watched all the episodes and was hooked...so I went online and looked up blogs, coupon sites, googled "extreme couponing" and read up as much as I can. I have signed up with some of the blogs and they send me email alerts about sales and coupons.
I am an "extreme couponer" in training for sure, I havent done any large amounts of shopping yet but I buy my sunday papers and clip my coupons on sundays, go online to sites where I can print coupons a couple times a week when they update them and print the ones I can use.
This year will be a true test to see what I can save this year.... we want to sell our house and buy a new one next year so we need to save as much as we can this year.
and I watch any episode of extreme couponing that I can to get any tips off what they say during the show.

If members who read this post are allowed to share the following and want to share the following than what website(s) do you use to print coupons from and did you have to download anything to use the website(s) you use to print coupons from.
I also would like to know do any of the website(s) that members use to print coupons from ask for a zip code so the coupons that you see that you can choose to print are coupons that can be used in the county you live in or some other place.
This is to the member warriormom09
I wanted to let members who read this post know that I have watched more than one episode of Extreme Couponing, but I don't know how many episodes of Extreme Couponing I have watched.
I am always amazed in the episodes of Extreme Couponing that I have watched that the amount of money that people in those episodes can save when grocery shopping.
To the member I mentioned above I was wondering what tips did you get from watching Extreme Couponing and did the tips you get from watching Extreme Couponing help you to save money.

sorry I havent been on...I have been taking care of my sick kids for a week now, everyone is better so now I am going to try to catch up on computer and coupon time. sweetangel.... the tips they give have helped me a lot, I dont get hundreds of dollars worth of groceries for only a few dollars yet or even a big stockpile but I have saved money everytime I go into a store now. stealth....I get my coupons mostly from my sunday papers, I buy 2 or 3 papers on sundays and that gives me double or triple coupons for the same item....also I print coupons from target.com and my mypoints, swagbucks, and inbox dollars -- this way i earn points or cents for using the coupons and save money from them as well. I also go onto mperks.com and clip coupons from meijer store products and I go to kroger.com and clip coupons to my rewards card and can use those with the manufactured coupon and save even more on the same product.

To the member I am quoting that is nice to know that the tips on Extreme Couponer has helped you to save money. To the member I am quoting have you noticed on Extreme Couponer that the grocery products people on this show save money on is usually not any produce and meats. To the member I am quoting if you clip the same coupons from more than one Sunday paper than how are you able to use the 2nd and or 3rd coupon that are the same coupon. Do you have to ring up the items separately so the items show up on a different receipt if you want to use the same coupon more than once or do you do something else? To the member I am quoting why did you say clip coupons in the last paragraph of the quote I am quoting from you. I asked what I asked because how can a person clip coupons online. Why did you not say add coupons for what you said about what you do on kroger.com?

ok, first...yes, the products they get usually has a longer shelf life than produce or meat so they can buy in bulk and the stuff wont go bad before they can use it up. however they do buy frozen meats sometimes...and one of the ladies said you can call the company and request coupons from them and they may send you some.
you can use one coupon per item you purchase up to 4 coupons (depends on the store, you have to look into there coupon policy) if you have a coupon for .50/1 item and you purchase 4 items you can use 4 coupons of the same .... if the coupon is $1 off/2 then you can purchase up to 8 items only using 4 coupons of the same.
I said clip coupon because at kroger.com the box you check says clip coupon. then when you are done there is a seperate box that says load to your card.
