I was wondering what antivirus and or spyware program(s) members who reads this post have ever used and or currently use on any computer(s) you have used and or currently use.
I have used Norton Antivirus on at least one computer and maybe more than one computer I used to use.
I have used AVG on a computer I used to use and still use AVG on a computer I am currently using.
I have used Ad-Aware as a spyware program on a computer I used to use and I still use Ad-Aware on a computer I am currently using.

I have used malwarebytes, ad-adware, McAfee, and Norton.

I just had my computer wiped clean and when I got everything reinstalled, I installed free AVG. It has been catching so much stuff. I've used it before an d wasn't happy with it. But it seems to be working better now. I also like Malwarebytes.

To the member I am quoting why were you not happy when you used AVG in the past on a computer and what made you decide to use AVG again on a computer. I bought my computer used and did not have the administrator password. I needed an administration password to make some changes in my computer. The only thing that they could do was wipe it clean and start over. It's been along time since I had used AVG and the computer guy suggested that I try it again because they had really improved the program.
I reinstalled some things and the computer guy reinstalled some things. My husband installed the AVG.

i'm referring to both as in spyware and malware. To the member I am quoting why is a spyware program and a malware program better to have installed in the same computer than just a spyware program. What I am asking is what does a spyware program catch that a malware program is not able to catch for you to want to have and use a spwyare program and a malware program in the same computer. |
