If any member who reads this post knows the answer to the following below than it would be nice of you to share the answer to what I asked below.
I was wondering why when cookies, cakes, etc are being made so they can be baked the ingredients have to be measured exactly right and the temperature of the oven has to be set to the correct temperature so what I mentioned will bake correctly, but than lets say when chicken is baked in an oven the temperature of the oven doesn’t have to be exactly right for the chicken to cook fully. If I am wrong on either thing I said than let me know this.

If any member who reads this post knows the answer to any of the following below than it would be nice of you to share the answer(s) to what you know below.
I was wondering is the date on packages of meat such as chicken a best by date or a use by date. Whatever the date is referring to on what I am asking than how is the date determined so a person knows how long they have before the person should cook the chicken before it spoils or to freeze the chicken if the person is not going to cook it on or before the date on the package.
I was wondering are all types of birds that people eat considered poultry and if I am wrong on what I asked than why is not all types of birds people eat considered poultry.
I was wondering why the date on packages of ground beef show a date that is 1-3 days and not a date that is 5-7 days before a person should cook the ground beef or freeze the ground beef if the person is not going to cook the ground beef on or before the date on the package of ground beef.
