LOL Mine is already gone. Paid all my bills and credit cards off and did some shopping. Oh and set aside enough for a plane ticket back home to see my family and friends.

this is our second home. we bought it last summer and have been slowly fixing it up (it was a foreclosure. perfectly fine to live in, but ugly on the inside LOL) our living room is oh so close to being completely finished, minus the flooring. That will be on the top of our list. what remains will be split, half to pay down debt and the other half in savings.

I'm planning on taking my daughter to Disneyland this summer. Hopefully I'll be able to hold onto it long enough without spending it on bills. *keeping fingers crossed*

I just had about 700 square feet of hardwood laminate put in..only cost about $2600 for everything. I went through CC Carpet. They even moved all of my furniture and had it done in two days. Living room, Dining, kitchen and hallway. Not a bad deal. They give free quotes and the have all kinds of carpet too. Just thought I would let you know.

welll we are in the process of putting an indoor pool in. So we are gonna use it to buy another outdoor pool, our other one is shot, and then whats left over will go towards the indoor pool. We have a very small one car attached garage..never use, and this is where the pool is going. But we want one in and out...so since so close to summer, will concentrate on that one for now.

I am a poor college student with a very small income, so I am spending my $8 rebate check on a movie ticket ($7.75) and a gumball ($0.25).

Here's the link to the article: money.cnn.com/2008/02/08/pf/taxes/rebates_what_you_need_to_know/index.htmHere's the highlight: "Single filers with AGI below $75,000 will get rebates of as much as $600. Couples with AGI below $150,000 will receive rebates of up to $1,200."

Unfortunately, I don't think I qualify for the rebate. Which makes me sad, because I could totally use $600.

My husband and I are actually getting $2100 because there's $600 for each of us, plus $300 for each of our 3 kids. Woo hoo! We're splitting it in half... With my half, I'm going to pay off some credit cards (boring), and buy my mom a Tiffany bracelet for Mother's Day because she's always wanted one (and she's never gonna get it from my step-dad!). And I might buy Photoshop CS3 because I'm a professional photographer and I just took the class for it and now I NEED it I think my husband is going to buy some Mariner tickets for us to take our 6 year old to his first baseball game....And I don't know what he's going to do with the rest! Hopefully something for himself because he always spends his money on bills! so yeah.
