Getting Referrals

How/where exactly do you post about your blog on either site? I was thinking about starting a discussion on myLot, but I'm not sure if it's allowed? And on Yuwie.......I really have no idea, other than perhaps posting feeds through my profile.

On myLot, I have several interest such as Making Money Online, Internet Earning, Extra Money, etc. I keep an eye on the discussions started under those topics (usually "What sites really pay" or "How do you get referrals" or "Can you really make money online", etc.) and I'll reply with a link to my latest blog or just the home page to my site. Some of my best referrals have come from there (one that's here on Squishy), but they do come from all over the world, so make sure you have a few sites that accept international members (like SC) - I even have one on FireHouse from Madascar (spelling???). On Yuwie, create a banner for your blog use html to post it in your shout box at the top of your profile page - make sure you have a photo of some sort, most people won't click on a profile without a photo. Also, on Yuwie, join money making clubs, they all have a forum where you're welcome to post the link to your site.

PS: ideas about how to create a blog banner for Yuwie for the graphically impaired?

I'm not sure if I should take this to private message or not, but thought perhaps others could benefit from this too. I was wondering what clubs you're a part of on Yuwie. I'm in need of sugestions for some good ones. :-)
