Yeah, Counting Crows are probably a VERY close 2nd...
They were the first band that meant something to me. Like the first music I listened to that wasn't my parents music...the summer after 9th grade, I laid on my bed ALL summer and just listened to their first album haha.

ooh yes, I love how music can represent specific times in our lives! The first TAPE I bought was the soundtrack to the bodyguard, I was like 11! I loved Whitney Huston! I would tell me best friend (at the time, Brittany) that I wanted to have twin girls and name them Whitney and Brittany! LOL I was a silly little girl

My husband always teases me because EVERY song that comes on my iPod reminds me of a place or a time or a person, and he's like "Doesn't any song remind you of nothing but the song?"
nope!
music has been so important in my life....it's all tied to a specific thought or feeling.

And I think in the same shopping trip (to the Fred Meyer electronics department haha), I got "Return to Innocence" by Enigma. The first CD I ever got was in my easter basket on easter morning.....from my mom when I was like 16. It was the band Sordid Humor, which was the Counting Crows' lead singer's other band. The album was called "Light Music for Dying People" ahhh...memories....

Well, I guess GPTs could be considered a hobby of mine. I am also a big fan of the Orlando theme parks (Disney, Universal, SeaWorld) so I try and go up there as much as I can. I play MMORPGs (although I'm on a bit of a break right now from my favorite, World of Warcraft). I love to go to the movies. I like to walk the beach as well or just "nature explore" We have a pond out back that attracts all sorts of wildlife and birds, I could watch for hours. Alissa, I also like to stay in hotels just for the sake of staying in hotels. We used to do that alot when we lived in Seattle. We'd priceline something downtown so it was a crapshoot what we'd get, but we always had fun. We stayed in alot of really nice hotels cheaply that way.

There's this new hotel in Seattle called the Hotel Max and it has an "art" theme. (it used to be the Vance Hotel or something like that, right next door to the court house). Anyway, it's my FAVORITE hotel. You should look at their website just to see the decor because I could never do it justice i think it's hotelmaxseattle.com

I like spending time with my daughters, reading, water skiing, and going to car shows. My dream car is a 1968 SS Camaro and one day I'm gonna make enough money on Squishycash to buy one. ;D

If I can find spare time away from work...I like to mostly read. My favorite author is Douglas Coupland. I also invest in the stock market...which, sadly, isn't going so well as of late.

Like apoth, I also enjoy reading. I usually read Stephen King or Dean Koons. I love horror and the scarier the better.
