is the biggest jerk and a$$ you will ever meet. he teaches through fear and intimidation. Anyway, there is a petition going around school to get him fired. I had Logan moved out several months ago from his class and now Logan is so happy and making A's!! Yesterday the teachers car was keyed up and someone dented the hood. If he had not taunted my child all year I would feel sorry for him. Teachers do have to put up with alot of crap. This teacher took lunch away from one of the boys in his class becasue he didn't do his homework!!!! He has serious control issues!!

If someone done that to my son, the last thing he'd be worried about is being fired, lol. The only reason people are like that with children is because they have no control of their own life so they believe they can control others.

This is the kind of thing I worry about... My son is only in 1st grade and so far, the two teachers he's had have been AWESOME. But I really worry about him getting a teacher who is a meanie

Good luck trying to get a teacher fired. But with an government job you pretty much have to do something really REALLY bad to get fired. Teachers are protected by tenure laws and it can take up to 3 years to fire a teacher and cost the school system thousands of dollars, so most likely they will do nothing. I read the book Public Schools, Public Menace and it scared the pants off me, so now I'm going to home school my kids. Not because of teachers, but because of how poorly the public school system is run. I feel sorry for most teachers having to teach in public schools, after reading this book its no wonder so many of them are frustrated.

My mom started "homeschooling" my 13 yr old sister and 16 yr old brother this last school year and it really scares me because when I say "home-schooling", I mean all their homework is done over the internet. She doesn't teach them anything. She has 3 jobs and works constantly, and my step-dad works graveyard and sleeps all day.
They don't go anywhere fun & educational. They sleep in, watch TV all day, and sometimes don't do any school work for days. I think my brother wants to drop out.
All this because my mom is afraid of shootings in schools.
