Didn't even know there was a Portland Ohio! What takes you out there?
Orlando is cool, if you get a chance to get away for a bit while you are there your family will really enjoy Cocoa beach, I did an internship in Orlando a while ago and I loved Cocoa beach, beautiful place and great seafood restaurants.

We came to the portland place through our travelagent, we wanted to see some killerwhales and from there it is only a few hours drive to get a boat out. Cocoa beach is indeed on our list for a visit, we like going to beaches and stay there for a few days. I'm not sure about the seafood restaurants, my husband is not a fan of fishmeals,

Haha! You are so funny! I actually read your post as Portland oregon and then I was like, wait she said Ohio... and I even googled "portland ohio" and it does exist! Also being from WA I know a little about OR and was just in Portland last fall! It's gorgeous there, but yes bring your umbrella! I'm too tired right now to give you any good tips...but, I'll post back again later! BTW alissa that's wild that you just happened to know 2 sisters that both went to college in those 2 places, lol. Portland is definitely cooler than Orlando, imo!

But when looking at it in a positive way, It will be easier for us to feel at home due to the rain. Will take raincoats and umbrella's and surely not a cabrioletcar then.

Try looking in wikipedia.com. put in the search engine portland, oregon and orlando, florida then for portland, oregon go to culture and contemporary life and for orlando, florida go to the culture section. hope this helps.
