Silver tag auctions offer... how does it work?

How does the "Silver Tag Auctions" offer under the shopping category work ?

I was reading their FAQ because it sounds a little fishy that you can get items for so cheap on the site and I came across this part:

A: We are certainly sorry to see you go. As an upgraded member, you simply need to follow the steps below to cancel your Silvertag account. 1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com 2. Click on the History Tab 3. Search Menu - On the \"Show\" Drop Down Menu choose \"Subscriptions\" and click search. 4. Click \"Details\" on the Silvertag Subscription. 5. Click Cancel on the Subscription Details page. Then click cancel again on the confirmation page and you are done.

Comment: Whats the subscription fee that they charge? it doesnt say anything about it anywhere on their site

I dont like this offer either - why would you have to sign in on your Paypal account to cancel? That makes no sense!

I've canceled a subscription/membership when doing paid offers with PayPal a long time ago. I don't remember why or what the circumstances were, because I usually don't use PP.

I don't know any details about this offer, but I don't think the cancellation process sounds fishy at all. It's not like you're giving them your PayPal information...maybe you have to pay for your items that you win with PayPal?

What they described is correct, there will be a section in PayPal for you to cancel their membership under 'subscriptions'.
