I've had the 3rd level upgrade since November & maybe about 3 referrals were assigned to me since then.

But I don't think it's worth the price you pay for it, considering if you go the referral route for generating income, then you should really be working on promoting, which is essentially free.

If you have the money to spare, it doesn't hurt to get the upgrades, you'll always have a steady stream of 1-5 referrals a month coming up from it. But realistically you won't earn back what you spent for it for a long time, unless you get lucky & receive a very active member.

I won an upgrade back in November. Since then I believe I got one referral - but unfortunately that person hasn't been active.

Honestly it's all about luck! If you do get a referral you never know if they'll be active or not.

If you don't want to spend the money on it you could always wait and see if they do an upgrade promotion in 2010 and win yourself one.

I would agree that as far as the upgrades, it's about the luck of the draw. Hoping to get the next regular member who's going to make hundreds of dollars. I think to be guaranteed (as much as you can) to get active referrals, you actually have to tell people about it in person and kind of support them in it if they have questions, etc. I think active referrals are more of a person-to-person thing, if that makes sense.

I don't know how long the referral upgrade has been on the site, but the feedback on what dissybear asked is good to know.

I didn't know members who purchased a referral upgrade could get referrals every month after they purchased a referral upgrade.

I thought if members wanted to keep getting referrals from upgrades they have to keep purchasing referral upgrades.

I bought one with chips so far.. its floorman....and Im saving up to get the wynn. I dont know how its panned out for others.. but I will feel better just knowing ive done it and have the best chances of catching refs.xoxo
