Being a new member here, I can appreciate how hard and easy it can be to adjust to the swing of things here @ squishycash. I was lucky enough to have met some REALLY great members who were overly helpful to me (ybrnml22, GreenConverse, ilovemykids44, aldy) just to name a few. If these members hadn't helped me, I would have quit because this is the first GPT site I had tried and wasn't understanding why I couldn't make any money. But these members aren't always on job, having families, jobs, etc., si I was wondering how difficult it would be for the vets @ suishycash to kind of right a manual for us newbies. Basically telling us the odds and ends to filling our offers and free trials and the daily contests. I think that if everyone read the forum post and wrote something that they knew to work and wasn't already on the post, we newbies wouldn't have to bug you so much when you came back on line. ;D

This is a good idea and I have thought about attempting to write something that would help. Maybe if someone would jump start it we could get this thing going. I would jump start it, but someone would have to jump start me first. I'm tired. lol

#1- Clearing your cookies. I still don't know what a cookie is or why it hinders the crediting of the offers, but I do know as soon as I was told how to clear them, I cashed out ( my first payout ) just 2 days later, so I know it makes a difference. I dont know if it's different for all browsers, but I switched from IE ( Internet Explorer ) to Firefox, and to clear your cookies on Firefox, you press Ctrl+ Shift+ Delete. It'll pull up a new window, all you do is click 'Clear Now', and voile, you've cleared your cookies. Now, hopefully, this is a decent start to this thread, and it'll help some new members.

All the offers are tracked by your cookies. So, if you have a cookie stored on your browser that is similar to the tracking cookie for any given offer, the NEW cookie may not track, as it already sees it stored. When you clear them, you are a blank slate, thus allowing all new cookies to track as they should.

LOL, This is just a fun tip. When things are not crediting for you, walk away from your computer. I have found that a watched offer doesn't credit. Sometimes if I just get up and do something else for a few I will come back to find my offers credited.
I will try to think of something better to post tomorrow.

ccleaner is a free download to clear cookies. I've heard some say it doesn't help. However, I've tried it both ways and found that I get better crediting results when I use it. Stay tuned for tomorrow's tip.

I like when people ask me questions! If I didn't, I would have stopped being a moderator lonnnng ago, since that's pretty much what the job entails! You can ask as many questions as you want, whenever you want! (I'm just saying this as an "aside" to your post, since your idea is a good one)

My tip for today is don't give up on offers. Sometimes you have done it a few times and you think it will never credit, so you tend to skip it. I have quit doing that and I have been doing a least a couple of those a day. Sometimes those are just the ones that credit and win me the contest. So I figure they didn't credit the first few times cause they knew I would need them another time.

this is a great idea for a topic here... and I will be back here to read what others say and put in what works for me.
like there are several offers that I have notice credit better in Firefox vs. Internet Explorer....just this week I have had issues with the TRP and ROU offers that I tried for 2 days in internet explorer....so I waited a day and did them in Firefox and they credited instantly. ..... this may work for others as well.... if an offer is giving you issues try another browser.

How do you turn off your firewall, and pop-up blockers? Because when those pop-up blockers come up on a survey i am doing i have to close the window and i can't do those surveys or offers.

I think this is a really great idea!
I don't remember exactly HOW I figured out GPT sites, but obviously at some point I did.
I know though that many of the referrals I get from people I know, they don't end up sticking with it. GPT sites are difficult for newbies. There is a lot to understand and get use to. A "dummies guide to GPT sites" would be an awesome idea!!
