I was wondering what brand and model digital camera(s) you own and or used to own. How long did you own or have owned the digital camera(s)?
I used to own a Kodak digital camera (I don't remember what model it was) and now I own a Kodak P850 and a Kodak M341 digital camera.
The Kodak digital camera that I don't remember the model I owned for more than 2 years. The Kodak P850 digital camera I have owned for more than 2 years and still own it. The Kodak M341 digital camera I have owned for less than a year and I still own it.
The first two digital cameras I mentioned above are the kind that are to big to put in a pocket, purse, etc. The third digital camera I mentioned above is the kind that can fit in a pocket, purse, etc.
I was wondering if anyone know what the difference between a subcompact and compact digital camera is.
I was wondering if anyone knows what a SLR digital camera is.
I was wondering why when I have taken pictures on any of the three digital cameras I mentioned above and I deleted any pictures I took that didn't show up good the file name for those deleted pictures will not show up again. I also was wondering if anyone has ever used all the file names on a digital camera or there is no way to use up all the files names on a digital camera.

I have a Kodak Easy Share M340 Digital Camera. I know I have had it longer than 2 years. Most digital single-lens reflex cameras (digital SLR or DSLR) are digital cameras that use a mechanical mirror system and pentaprism to direct light from the lens to an optical viewfinder on the back of the camera.

To the member I am quoting I am glad to know someone else owns a Kodak Easyshare digital camera. To the member I am quoting are SLR and DSLR digital cameras different or similar to each other. What did you mean by mechanical mirror system and pentarprism. What is a mechanical mirror system and pentaprism? Is an optical viewfinder the same thing as a LCD screen on a digital camera and if an optical viewfinder is not the same as a LCD screen on a digital camera than how are they different.-Most digital single-lens reflex cameras (digital SLR or DSLR) are digital cameras that use a mechanical mirror system and pentaprism to direct light from the lens to an optical viewfinder on the back of the camera

I was wondering if anyone who has owned or owns one or more digital cameras has ever installed the program that was put on a CD-ROM for that or those digital cameras on a computer and after you did what I asked in this paragraph than did the following ever happen to you when you have wanted to transfer pictures from a digital camera to a computer.
The problem I have had with the Kodak P850 digital camera after I installed the program that was put on a CD-ROM for this model Kodak digital camera is when I plug into the camera one end of a USB cable to the digital camera and the other end to a USB slot on a computer the Kodak program wants me to transfer the pictures on this model digital camera directly to the program. When I don't transfer the pictures from this digital camera to the Kodak program and try do the following below this model Kodak digital camera will not do the following below, but the Kodak M341 digital camera I have when I try doing the following below works for me. I was wondering if anyone knows why the following below doesn't work for the Kodak P850 digital camera, but it will work for the Kodak M341 digital camera I own.
Here is what I have tried to do with more than one Kodak digital camera.
When I try to take the pictures from a memory card to a computer by going to start, my computer, than clicking on the brand name of the memory card I used in that digital camera, than highlight the pictures I want to move to the computer by copying the pictures from the member card and than pasting the pictures in a another part of a computer this doesn't work with the Kodak P850 digital camera, but it works with the Kodak M341 digital camera.
If I want to transfer pictures from the Kodak P850 digital camera to a computer without using a Kodak program to do this I have to use a external memory card reader that is used with a USB cable and than what I mentioned in the previous paragraph works with the Kodak P850 digital camera.

I was wondering if anyone who reads this post has ever taken one or more videos using one or more digital cameras. If you have done what I am asking using one or more digital cameras than has anyone had one or both of the following happen to you after you transfered one or more digital camera videos to a computer.
What has happen with more than one digital camera is with the Kodak P850 digital camera most times when I transfer videos that I have taken with this digital camera to a computer it shows a image for those videos I took with this digital camera, but if I transfer videos I have taken with the Kodak M341 digital camera to a computer it just shows a image for the program that is going to open the videos and not an image. I was wondering if anyone knows why what I asked in this paragraph happens with the Kodak M341 digital camera instead of this digital camera doing what I said happens with the Kodak P850 digital camera.
I was wondering if anyone knows why when I try to change the file name of videos I have taken with the Kodak P850 digital camera most times I am able to change the file name, but with the Kodak M341 digital camera I usually am not able to change the file name for videos I took with this digital camera.

I was wondering if anyone knows why when a picture is taken with a digital camera and the picture is deleted using the delete feature on a digital camera that the file name of the deleted picture never is used again. What I am trying to ask is lets say a picture file name has 200 as part of the picture file name, but than that picture is deleted from the digital camera using the delete feature on that digital camera than the 200 part of the picture file name that was deleted is never used again.
I was wondering do digital cameras have a limited amount of picture file names that can be used or do digital cameras have unlimited picture file names. If digital cameras don't have unlimited picture file names than does this mean at some point a digital camera will no longer allow any pictures to be taken.

I noticed in the past 7 days that when I have taken pictures with the Kodak M341 digital camera that I own and the digital camera needs a flash to go off automatically so the lighting in the picture will show up right I now see a double flash.
If anyone has ever had the problem I mentioned having in the previous paragraph of this post than do you know what could cause the problem I mentioned having when taking pictures.
I was wondering if having a double flash go off when taking pictures with a digital camera will wear out the digital camera so I will have to buy a new digital camera. I was also wondering if a double flash going off when taking pictures will just use the battery in the digital camera faster.

Since you have a camera, do you think you could take a picture of yourself and post it here in the SC forum?

Since you have a camera, do you think you could take a picture of yourself and post it here in the SC forum? To the member I am quoting why did you want to see a picture of me in a forum post. I don't recall seeing any thread in the forum that SquishyCash members posted a picture of themselves.

Since what I wanted to know can be used in digital cameras than that is why I am asking the following below in this thread subject.
I tried to add pictures to a memory card that were on a computer one day in the past 7 days and after I added 145 pictures to a memory card it said the file or directory name cannot be created or something similar to this even though when I checked the memory card by doing this with a computer it showed that there was 1. something GB of free space available.
If anyone has ever had what I mentioned in the previous paragraph happen to them before when adding anything to a memory card than why does this happen.
I do want to let others know that someone I know was able to help me figure out why I wasn't able to add anymore pictures to a memory card even though there was still free space available. This person who helped me out was able to reformat the memory card using a computer, but the pictures I had on the memory card got deleted when the memory card got reformatted. I also wanted to let others know that the person who tried to reformat the meory card for me did it the slow way and that way didn't let the meory card get reformatted, but than this person tried to reformat the memory card the quick way that actually reformatted the memory card.
I was wondering if anyone knows why memory cards have to be reformated to be able to use all the space on the memory card. I asked what I asked in this paragraph of this post because I have used a memory card more than 2 years ago where that memory card also should have been refomated through a computer to add things to it from a computer, but at that time I didn't know that is what was needed to be done.
I have reformatted a meory card using a digital camera.

I was wondering if anyone who reads this post has ever taken a video with a digital canera and taken the video where in order to view the video from the digital camera and or computer the head has to be tilted to see the video right side up.
If what I mentioned in the first paragraph of this post has ever happened to anyone who reads this post than does anyone know how what I mentioned in the first paragraph of this post can be rotated so it's facing in such a way that a head dosen’t have to be tilted to view the video on a computer.

I was wondering if anyone who reads this post has ever had the problem below when saving a picture they took with a digital camera to a computer as a desktop background.
The problem I have noticed with more than one picture I have tried to save to a computer as a desktop background that I took with a digital camera is sometimes the saved desktop background picture will show up as four of the same pictures instsead of as one big desktop background picture. What I mentioned in the previous sentance of this paragraph about the saved desktop background picture will show up as four of the same pictures instsead of as one big desktop background picture only happen with some pictures I have saved to a computer as a desktop background and these pictures are also resized so they are less than 1MB in size.
If anyone has ever had the problem I mentioned in the previous paragraph of this post than do you know why what I mentioned happens.
