I was wondering what brand and or model printer members who read this thread use.
The first printer I owned was a printer that could only print in black and no colors, but I don't remember the brand the printer was.
The second printer I owned is a Dell All in One printer which meant it could print, scan, copy and fax. The model Dell printer I used to use had the paper try in the back of the printer where the paper wold stand up in the tray.
The third printer I own and use is a HP All in One printer which can print, scan, copy and fax. The paper tray for this printer is in the front of the printer where the paper tray can be taken off and put in a drawer.
I was wondering if anyone who uses Windows XP has ever used a printer program that seems to have been installed with Windows XP and when you print any pictures using the preinstalled printer program some or all of the pictures that are printed with any brand and model printer either makes the pictures show up with dots and or lines or the pictures are to dark to see the picture clearly. What I asked in this paragraph of this post is the first time I have ever had a printer that when I printed pictures that what I said in this paragraph of this post has happened. I know someone who has bought colored printer ink from the same place I did for the HP printer I use and this person doesn't have the dots and lines and dark pictures when they use a Dell printer where the paper tray is in the front of the printer, but the paper tray is not able to be removed from the printer.
If what I asked in the 5th paragraph of this post has happened to anyone else who reads this post than do you know what could cause what I mentioned in the 5th paragraph of this post to happen.

I was wondering if anyone who reads this post has ever had the problem below when trying to print something with a printer.
The problem I had when I tried to print something on Aug 29, 2011 using a HP printer I currently use is the printer would try to print on a piece of printer paper, but than before the paper could show what I wanted printed on it it made a noise to let a person know something was wrong with the printer and when I checked to see what was wrong with the printer I saw on the printer panel that it said printer is out of paper or something similar to this even though the printer is not out of paper.
I thought maybe the printer needed more than 3 pieces of paper in the paper tray so I added more paper to the paper tray and the printer panel still told me a 2nd, 3rd, etc time the printer is out of paper when I tried to print what I wanted to print.
If anyone has ever had the above problem I mentioned happening to a printer they use or have used than do you know why what I mentioned above can happen with a printer.

Maybe the paper tray to feed the paper to the printer is not completely 'loaded/seated?'

Maybe the paper tray to feed the paper to the printer is not completely 'loaded/seated?' I wanted to let members who read this post know that the printer tray for the HP printer I currently use is the kind that can be taken out and put in lets say a drawer when the printer is not printing anything. This is the first printer I have used that the paper tray was able to be removed when not being used. To the member I am quoting when you said what you said in the quote I am quoting from you are you saying that a printer paper tray may need to be filled until no more paper can fit in it for the printer to be able to print what a person wants to print. If I am wrong on what you meant in the quote I am quoting from you than let me know this. To the member I am quoting what did you mean by completely seated in the quote I am quoting from you.

Make sure the tray is properly seated in and not loose.

Make sure the tray is properly seated in and not loose. Just letting members who reads this post know that the paper tray that is able to be removed from the HP printer I currently use has I believe hooks or something on the ends of the paper try that help the paper try to stay in place. To the member I am quoting why did you say what you said in the quote I am quoting from you. If the paper tray for the HP printer I currently use was loose than wouldn't the paper not fit in the paper tray and or the paper tray would look as though it's not positioned right.

Perhaps you need to look into the inside and see if the gears/rollers are catching the paper(s).

Perhaps you need to look into the inside and see if the gears/rollers are catching the paper(s). To the member I am quoting how can I do what you said in the quote I am quoting from you with the HP printer I am currently using. If you are not able to answer what I asked in this paragraph of this post than is that because different brands and or models of printers have a different way for a person to what you said in the quote I am quoting from you. To the member I am quoting what is the difference between the gears and rollers in a printer.

I was wondering if any member who reads this post knows the answer to any of the following below about inkjet and laser printers.
I was wondering what the difference between inkjet and laser printers are. Are inkjet printers small enough to sit on the top of a desk, table, etc and laser printers are to big to sit on the top of a desk, table, etc so they sit on a floor. Do inkjet printers use cartridges and laser printers use ribbons that have ink on them? If I am wrong on what I said in the 2nd and or 3rd sentence of this paragraph of this post than let me know this. If there are other differences between a inkjet and laser printer that I didn't mention in this paragraph of this post than what other difference(s) are there.
I was wondering can laser printers copy, fax and or scan.
I was wondering if any member who reads this post has ever had the following below happen to them.
What has happened to me in the past couple months in 2011 is that sometimes when I try to print something from a computer it does what I said in a post in this thread on Aug 30, 2011, but sometimes and not all the time when I try to copy something with the same printer I don't have the problem I posted about in this thread on Aug 30, 2011. If any member does say they also have had what I said in this paragraph of this post happen to them than do you know why what I said in this paragraph of this post happens.

I wanted to let members who read this post know that the problem I said I was having in the post I posted in this thread on Aug 30, 2011 I was able to fix one day in the past week.
What I noticed one day in the past week is that a part on the back of the HP printer I currently use is made of plastic and covers I believe where the rollers are located on the back of the HP printer had fallen off where this part of the HP printer should be located on the back of the printer and when I put this part back in place so far I am able to print without the printer saying it is out of paper when there is paper in the printer tray.
When I told someone I know about the part of the HP printer I use had fallen off and I had to put this part back in place this person said this part can be taken off if there is a paper jam in the printer.

I was wondering if any member who reads this post has ever had the problem below when trying to print something from a computer. The problem I have had in Oct 2011 for about a week is when I try to print something from a computer the HP printer I am using wouldn't make any noise to let me know that the printer was trying to print or wasn‘t able to print. When I told someone about the problem I was having with a printer on Oct 24, 2011 this person suggested I try to copy something with the printer and when I did copy something with the printer I was able to copy what I used to find out if the printer would copy anything. I feel it is odd that the HP printer I am using would copy something, but not print anything from a computer. When I did a search online on Oct 24, 2011 to find out why I couldn't print from a computer I found the information in the link below. I was wondering if any member who rseads this post knows why it says 0Ready and not just Ready in the solution part of the information in the link below. I was wondering if any member who reads this posts knows what Que means. I was wondering if any member who reads this post has ever tried the following on a computer and if you have did the following work for you. I asked if the following worked for any member who reads this post who tried doing the following because the following didn't work for me and I am using a computer that has Windows XP on it.-Then go to Start> Run> under run type in services.msc and hit Ok and in the services window locate for print spooler and under service status you should see a tab which says stop highlighted click on the same (a window will pop up and close), now you will see start highlighted click start and you will see the same window pop up and close, Now stop should be highlighted, click on Apply or Ok and restart your computer. Then after restarting your PC go to Start> Control panel> Printer and faxes> and check where the check mark is in and the default printer should say 0Ready. No right click on the default icon and left click on properties. and under properties to the bottom you will see a tab which says print test page. Click on it and see if it prints a test page. And then if it prints try printing from any application. I did want to let any member who reads this post know that when I did the following I did see that it said Paused and not Ready for the HP Series printer I am using when this printer was turned on. When I did Cancel the document(s) it showed Ready and than I tried to print something from the computer the printer is connected to and what I printed worked.-First Go to Start> Control panel> Printers and faxes> And in the HP 5600 series check to see what the icon say...? (Does it say 0Ready or does it have and jobs in Que) Right click on the icon and left click on Cancel all documents ( until it says 0Ready) Make sure the HP 5600 series is set as a default printer. I was wondering if any member who reads this post knows what could have caused the HP printer I am using to not want to print anything from a computer, but would copy something using this printer. I was wondering if any member who reads this post has ever been able to do any of the following below in the first paragraph below and or noticed any of the following below in the second paragraph below when trying to print more than one picture at the same time.
What I would like to know is has any member been able to do any or all of the following such as choose pictures themselves to print with a printer by checking off a box for each picture you want to print, choose what size print(s) you want to print, choose the type of paper you are using to print the pictures onto, choose if you want to see a preview of what will be printed before it's printed so if you don't like how it will print than you can go back and fix anything you want to fix, etc. I asked the things in this paragraph of this post because I believe either the computer I am using or the printer program that I installed from a CD Rom that came with the HP printer I use lets me do the things I mentioned.
If any member does say they have been able to do any or all of the things I mentioned in the previous paragraph of this post and you chose to preview the pictures you want to print at the same time before it's printed than I was wondering if you noticed that one or more of the pictures you wanted to print at the same time had some of what you wanted to print cut off. If anyone does say they have also noticed what I said in this paragraph of this post than do you know why what I said happens some of the time when a person tries to print more than one picture at the same time.
