I was wondering what internet browser(s) members who read this post use and why do you use the internet browser(s) you use.
I use Internet Explorer. I use IE because I like the layout of IE. I did try FireFox for a few weeks twice, but didn't like how it works both times I tried using FF.
Someone I know told me that with FF there is a way to open a new tab from a link on a website without the previous tab the link was clicked on disappearing.
If what I was told in the previous paragraph does work with FF than I was wondering does anyone who reads this post know how what I asked in the previous paragraph of this post works. What I am asking is there a setting in FF I would need to chose to do what I asked in the previous paragraph of this post.

I mostly use firefox, only because I have all my sites bookmarked and all my passwords saved but thats the only reason. If I spent time on the others I am sure I would use them as well but I dont get as much computer time as I use to so I go with what is fastest for me right now.

To the member I am quoting why do you use Safari as a internet browser and how is safari different from FF and IE. I mostly use firefox, only because I have all my sites bookmarked and all my passwords saved but thats the only reason. If I spent time on the others I am sure I would use them as well but I dont get as much computer time as I use to so I go with what is fastest for me right now. To the member I am quoting how can passwords be saved in FF. I thought in any internet browser if cookies are deleted than passwords on any website are no longer saved. If I am wrong on this let me know this.

I was wondering what website members who reads this post have chosen as the website page that will show up when you open a internet browser(s) you use. If you use more than one internet browser than do you use the same website to show up when you pen those internet browsers you use. If you share what webstie page you have chosen as the website page that will show up when you open a internet browser(s) than why do you use that website page.
Since I only use IE as of this post for a internet browser I have chosen to use Yahoo.com as the website page that shows up when I open IE. I chose Yahoo.com because I like the layout of it such as the way search results show up.

sweetangel22.... in firefox when you put in a username and password it will give you a bar that says save password/ never for this site/ not now.... once you save it the password is always in there, I even use c cleaner and all my passwords are still there after I clear my cookies.

Don`t really have a reason, of why i use them. I just like change and a different look, instead of using the same thing over and over.

If passwords get saved in FF than what happens when someone using FF starts to type in a password on a website they saved a password. To the member I am quoting or to anyone else who reads this post I was wondering why C Cleaner doesn't delete a saved passwords after C Cleaner runs. I hadn't thought about the following thing you said until you said it, but homepage is probably what I was referring to in the above quote you quoted from me.-Do you actually mean homepage?

on c cleaner there is a box that you can check for saved passwords, I dont check that one...that may be why my user name and passwords are still there everytime I clear my cookies.
and yes, usernames are saved as well.
about the tabs, do you mean when you click on a link in FF it opens in a new tab.... it does, I believe.... I dont think I really pay that much attn to what I do when I am on the computer....I just go with what happens and continue what I need to do when I am doing my ptc sites, my emails and squishy. Maybe someone else will know if they pay more attn to things like that. lol

To the member I am quoting I was reffering to the following when I asked what I asked about tabs in the first post of this thread I started. To anyone who reads this I asked what I asked about tabs in the first post of this thread I started because when I have tried using FF a new tab does open when I click on a link on a website, but than the page I clicked a link on in FF disappears on me. What happens in FF with tabs doesn't seem to happen for me in IE.-about the tabs, do you mean when you click on a link in FF it opens in a new tab.... sweetangel22.....if you use c cleaner, then when you open it on the front page there is a list to the left that has a bunch of boxes you check. saved passwords is right there in the list.....you cant miss it.
about the tabs I am not an IT person and dont really know anything about computers -- when I click on a link in my FF on my computer I get 2 open tabs then... the original page is still there and the new page is open in a new tab. so I dont think I can answer what you are looking for --you may have to ask an IT/ computer specialist that knows computers. sorry I cant help.
