It's set on top of a table or counter top or whatever. To the member I am quoting are you referring to a media player in the quote I am quoting from you as to where it's set. If you are referring to a media player in the quote I am quoting from you than I thought a media player could only be used with a computer. If I am wrong on what I said in the 2nd sentence of this paragraph of this post than let me know this.

It's like a box that sets on top of something, like a table.
TVs and and computers are places where they can be used.

To the member I am quoting how can a media player be used with a TV. Is a media player that is used with a TV connected the same way as a DVD player and or VCR.

I was wondering if any member who reads this post knows how the following below works when people watch a specific episode of a TV program.
What I would like to know is how is a person or people who put online and or share with a person or people who are on TV such as a person who works for a local news station able to know how many people watched a specific episode of a TV program within lets say 1 or 2 days after a specific episode of a TV program has aired.
I was wondering if any member who reads this post knows how the following below works with TV channel numbers.
What I would like to know is how are the TV channel numbers decided on for TV networks such as NBC, CBS, ABC, etc for different owner(s) of companies who offer TV service. What I am asking is why do owner(s) of TV service who offer the same TV networks as other owner(s) of TV service not always put the same TV networks on the same TV channel numbers
