I for one am very happy that the players and owners could reach an agreement for revenue sharing and everything. Now I can watch these skilled millionaires play a game for a living! ;D

I personally would rather watch college basketball. However, I am glad that the NBA is back.

Not me, I could care less. lol What would make me care is if we could earn NBA picks like we earn NFL picks at Squishy. Much to my husband's delight, Squishy as succeeded in making me like football.

*I* am VERY glad that the NBA is back! Its terrible that this sort of thing happens in professional sports, with ANY pro sport, because the only person that its hurting are the very people that pay the salaries, for players, coaches, managers, owners, all of them, as well give companies/cities a reason to build a stadium, (hence more money for them). I think that they should have a little more understanding and respect for the fan.... I can remember, in the late 1970's, there was serious discussions about shutting the NBA down, because attendance was at an all time low, and getting lower every day. There wasn't anything anyone could do about it either. That suddenly all changed when Larry Bird and Magic Johnson joined the NBA in the 1979-80 season, right after the NCAA Final. Not many people remember the fierce rivalry Bird and Johnson had with one another, and the final game that year was like a roller coaster ride of excitement. I tell you, it was a d**n good thing that Magic and Larry brought that rivalry to the NBA, or we would have never seen Jordan fly through the air with out a jet pack, or experienced Kobe, or Stockton, or Shaq, anyone, for that matter, that played in the league after 1982. (memories/games flitting around in my head) man! a d**n good thing!

NBA is a part of the history from the USA. Its not only that a lot of people are watching it. It is a clever and interesting contest.
