I was wondering if any member who reads this post notices that sometimes or all of the time when you are reading something without saying the words you are reading verbally if you can hear in your mind and or brain the words you are reading. If what I said happens to any member who reads this paragraph of this post than do you know why what I asked happens.
I was wondering what members like to read.
Here are things people read.
Do you like to read books, one or more different magazines, one or more different newspapers, advertisement, etc?
I like to read books and sometimes I will read different magazines.

If any member who reads this post knows the answer to any of the following below than it would be nice of you to share the answer(s) to what you know the answer(s) to.
I was wondering when a person reads a book is it the author(s) and or editor or one or more other people who decides if a book will be printed in hardcover or paperback.
I was wondering when a person reads a book is it the author(s) and or editor or one or more other people who decides what page in a book will be numbered 1. I asked what I asked because I have seen in books that I have read that most times page number 1 isn't the first page of the 1st chapter of books I have read. I also would like to know why page number 1 isn't usually the first page of the 1st chapter of books I have read.
I was wondering when a person reads a book is it the author(s) and or editor or one or more other people who decides what size font and type of font will be used when a book is printed.
I believe I recall seeing the following thing happen with one or more books I have read and if I am right on this than why do some books not have chapters in them.

Those decisions are probably made in consensus. To the member I am quoting when you said what you said in the quote I am quoting from you are you saying that the author, editor and or other people who work on a book probably all have to agree on the first 3 things or all 4 things I asked in a post in this thread on Dec 17, 2011 or did you mean something else when you said what you said in the quote I am quoting from you.

I was wondering if any member who reads this post has ever read any books that are considered a book series (I think book series is what I am referring to).
If any member has done what I asked in the previous paragraph of this post than what is one or more book series you have read and who wrote the books in the book serie(s) you have read.
Here is my answer to the above.
When I was under the age of 16 I read more than one book, but not all of the books in the Baby Sitters Club (BSC) book series written by Ann M. Martin.
As of this post I am reading the 5th book in the Earth's Children series written by Jean M. Auel.

Ya, I read like that too. When I need to read really fast, I read sentence by sentence as opposed to word by word and it isn't as clear a voice.
I read books, mostly nonfiction. I do enjoy the occassional best seller. I read alot of magazines, from running to engineering to entrepreneur. I don't like magazines though. Scientific journals interest me more. I feel they aren't focused on the sell, but rather the content.

To the member I am quoting when you do read magazines why do you like to read magazines about running to engineering to entrepreneur. To the member I am quoting what is a scientific journal and how is that different from books and magazines. To the member I am quoting when you said the following are you referring to magazines or something else. If you are referring to magazines than why do you feel what you said in the following thing.-I feel they aren't focused on the sell, but rather the content.

If any member who reads this post knows the answer to any of the following below than it would be nice of you to share the answer(s) to what you know below.
I was wondering if any member has ever read one or more books that have a acknowledgments, prologue and or epilogue in the book(s).
If any member does say they have read one or more books that have any of the three things I asked above than I was wondering is the acknowledgements part of books just where the author of the book thanks the people who helped the author of a book write the book. Let me know if I am right or wrong on what I said.
I was wondering what the prologue and epilogue parts of a book is for.
