I was wondering if any member who reads this post knows the answer to any of the following below. If any member who reads this post does know the answer to any of the following below than it would be nice of you to share the answer(s) to what you know below.

I know that Wi-Fi stands for Wireless Fidelity but what does Fidelity mean.

I was wondering if any member who reads this post who has ever used Wi-Fi has ever secured a Wi-Fi connection and if you have than how does a person do this.

I was wondering if any member who reads this post knows why some places such as one or more libraries, one or more police stations and one or more McDonald's locations allow people to use their Wi-Fi service.

I was wondering if any member who reads this post knows if cable internet service is faster or slower than WI-Fi internet service.

I was wondering if any hotel(s) and or motel(s) offer Wi-Fi. If any
hotel(s) and or motel(s) do offer Wi-Fi than is it free for anyone to use the Wi-Fi service at one or more hotels and or at one or more motels that offer Wi-Fi without a person having to pay to stay in a hotel or motel room to use the Wi-Fi.

If what I asked in the previous paragraph of this post isn't free to do if a hotel(s) and or motel(s) offers Wi-Fi than why is that. If a person has to pay for a room at a hotel(s) and or motel(s) to be able to use a hotel(s) and or motel(s) Wi-Fi service than why is that.

If any member who reads this post knows the answer to any of the following below than it would be nice of you to share the answer(s) to what you know below.

I was wondering if a desktop computer uses Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 than can these desktop computers have a Wi-Fi card installed in the tower of any of these computers. If what I asked in this paragraph of this post does work than are there only certain brands of Wi-Fi cards that can be used with a desktop computer that uses the versions of Windows I mentioned.

If what I asked in the previous paragraph of this post does work than where in the back of a tower of a desktop computer does a Wi-Fi card get installed.

I was wondering when a laptop computer has a Wi-Fi feature already installed in it when a person buys a laptop computer than where is the Wi-Fi card located.
