This is to the member stealth3si.
I was wondering why anyone would want to use a external solid state drive if a person could use a external hard drive to store things on it from a computer.
I was wondering if there is one or more differences between a external solid state drive and a external hard drive. If there is one or more differences between these two things than what is or are the differences.
I was wondering are all solid state drives external or can some be installed in desktop and or laptop computers.

To the member I am quoting is what you said in the quote I am quoting from you a answer to the following thing I asked you in a post in this thread on Nov 26, 2011.-I was wondering why anyone would want to use a external solid state drive if a person could use a external hard drive to store things on it from a computer. To the member I am quoting if I am right on what you were answering in the quote I am quoting from you than I was wondering is a external solid state drive smaller than any external hard drive and that is why a person would want to use a external solid state drive instead of an external hard drive to store things in it.

The point is to save power while afk. To the member I am quoting what do you mean by while in the quote I am quoting from you and does afk stand for as far as I know. To the member I am quoting is the hibernation feature in computers what you are referring to when you said the point is to save power in the quote I am quoting from you. If I am right on what I said in this paragraph of this post than why would using the hibernation feature in a computer save power, but using the standby feature in computers doesn’t save power. If I am wrong on the standby feature in computers doesn’t save power in a computer than let me know this.
